About role
This is not a traditional sales role. You will build our UK market from scratch — finding the right clients, earning their trust with a targeted first engagement, and growing those relationships into long-term strategic technology partnerships.
Our sales motion is land-and-expand. You come in with a focused, high-value initial engagement, prove the value of what we build, and grow the account from there. No inherited territory. No rigid playbook. Real ownership and real upside.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and execute a strategy to acquire SME and scale-up clients through outbound prospecting, networking, events, and partner channels
  • Own the full sales cycle — from lead generation and qualification to deal closure and account expansion
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand client challenges and position tailored technology solutions
  • Identify high-potential entry points within target accounts and convert them into long-term growth partnerships
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to craft compelling proposals, SOWs, and solution designs
  • Leverage hyperscaler and partner relationships (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake) to generate pipeline
  • Represent Systango at 2–4 industry events per quarter — AI, digital engineering, FinTech, cloud
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and CRM hygiene

What We Are Looking For
Essential:
  • 8+ years in IT services, digital engineering, or consultative technology sales
  • Proven land-and-expand or hunting + farming sales model experience
  • Experience selling bespoke or custom-built software solutions — not SaaS licences or products
  • Existing network of UK tech decision-makers (CTOs, CPOs, Heads of Engineering) you can activate immediately
  • Ability to name 5 companies you would contact this week and 5 relevant industry events you attend regularly
  • Full right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available
  • London-based with ability to travel to Shoreditch or client sites 2–3 days per week
Highly Desirable:
  • Active hyperscaler or platform partner relationships — AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake
  • Experience working with offshore delivery teams
  • Domain knowledge in Finance, Insurance, Retail, or Professional Services
  • Working knowledge of Gen AI, Blockchain, Web3, or Data Engineering use cases
  • Experience with partner-led or co-sell GTM motions
